Zero-trust access without slowing your team down
Security controls that engineers route around are worse than no controls, because they create the illusion of coverage.

Security controls that engineers route around are worse than no controls at all, because they produce an audit trail that says everything is fine.
Identity-aware, not network-aware
Perimeters do not survive contact with modern architectures. Every hop authenticates, every hop authorises, and the network location is not evidence of anything.
Make the paved road the fast road
If the compliant path is slower than the workaround, you have designed a workaround. Short-lived credentials issued automatically beat long-lived credentials stored carefully.
Audit what actually happened
Access logs that nobody reads are storage costs. Alert on the anomalous shape, not on the volume.
